B-More Kitchen Launch Party

I first laid eyes on the Accelerator Building on a hard hat tour several months before it opened to the public. Even in that rough state, I knew I had come across something really special! The first floor of the building is home to B-More Kitchen, Baltimore's first kitchen incubator that provides commercial kitchen space to small food businesses. On the second floor is The Accelerator Space, a gorgeous Industrial Chic event space with room for 200+ guests. I loved the natural light streaming in the windows, the original hardwood floors, and the little details like doors made from the original windows and gorgeous marble and fixtures in the bathroom.

When it came time to open the venue, I was so honored to be asked to help design and plan its launch party. Food had to come first, and it had to come from the B-More Kitchen members. We invited each member to have a station to provide samples and chat with the guests - and everything was absolutely delicious! Local Color Flowers continued the theme with centerpieces of locally-sourced flowers and vegetables.

It was an incredible night that brought together people from many segments of Baltimore - dignitaries, neighbors, the events industry, the food world, and partners in the renovation. We felt so fortunate to throw the very first party at The Accelerator Space, and look forward to many more to come!
